Gig-Speed Internet from Xfinity Coming to Newfield, Maine

Comcast started construction to connect more than 1,200 new homes and businesses in Newfield, Maine to multi-gig, symmetrical Internet from America’s smartest and most reliable converged network. Xfinity brings residential Internet, mobile, entertainment, and smart home services into one simple, seamless solution – giving customers more speed, savings, and control over their connected lives. Newfield joins nearly 65 million homes and businesses nationwide with access to a network that fuels innovation, productivity, and everyday connection.

Newfield residents will soon be able to sign up for Xfinity services – including 2 Gig Xfinity Internet – as Comcast expands its network in the area. Residents are encouraged to visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses for additional updates on construction timing and service availability. To learn more about Xfinity services, including how they can get one year of Xfinity Mobile service for free, residents can also visit the Dover, NH Xfinity Store located at 861 Central Avenue.
